The Office of the Commissioner of Communications – Digital Security Authority (DSA), in collaboration with the European Security and Defence College (ESDC), organised the “Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)” training course which was held at the ICT Academy - Office of the Commissioner of Communications, from December 2 to 5, 2025.
There were 37 participants from 9 European countries, including both civilian and military personnel from EU Member States, as well as representatives from EU institutions and agencies.
The training aimed to enhance the CISO’s understanding of their role as a business leader,
strengthen decision-making capabilities in critical situations, and prepare them for addressing modern cyber threats. Participants gained in-depth knowledge of risk management, regulatory compliance, security policy development, and communication with senior executives.
